1) QUALITY I rent out clean, warm, nicely decorated houses. They all have double bedrooms so there is plenty of room for all your stuff. All houses are fully furnished with double glazed windows throughout, sturdy secure doors, washing machine and tumble drier, flatscreen TV, large fridge-freezers and a burglar alarm. My houses all have modern efficient gas boilers to provide heating and hot water. These are checked yearly as per regulations and a copy of the Gas Safe certificate is given to you. Likewise with the house electrics. All properties have mains wired interlinked smoke alarms for your safety and a Carbon Monoxide detector.
I do not have any of the more traditional student houses that come complete with damp, mould, beetles, leaking roof, peeling wallpaper and mind bending swirly-patterned carpets.
2) VALUE I do not charge any 'Registration Fee', 'Signing up Fee', or any other fees as they are all a complete rip off. All you need to pay is your rent and the utility bills. Your month's deposit is registered with the official Deposit Protection Scheme and is returned to you when you leave provided you haven't wrecked the property.
I own all my houses and do not spend any money on a nice office, a brand new van or an agent. Such costs are always passed on to the tenant and add at least 10% to the rent. All my houses have roof insulation, modern central heating systems and double glazing which help you significantly reduce your heating bills.
3) SERVICE I have been a landlord since 1989 and have an excellent reputation for being fair, honest and reliable. I live locally and am always contactable. Current tenants will confirm that any problems are dealt with quickly and efficiently. I'm perfectly happy to let you talk to my tenants as I don't have anything to hide.
